At Habibi Bears, every puppy’s journey begins with love, intention, and the principles of the Habibi Method and the Habibi Blueprint. These frameworks guide every step of our program, ensuring that our puppies grow into confident, intuitive companions ready to bring joy and connection to their forever families.
Our process combines proven techniques like Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), Early Scent Introduction (ESI), and tailored enrichment activities to promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Whether your puppy will be a cherished family companion, a therapy partner, or a service dog, our program lays the foundation for success.

Week-by-Week Development
Where we Raise family dogs
Great family dogs aren’t just born—they’re nurtured through intentional, immersive experiences from the very start.
That’s why our Habibi Method begins with early training right here with us.
From day one, our puppies follow a carefully designed developmental curriculum that grows with them, just like a Montessori-style classroom for puppies! Each week, their world expands, introducing new skills and experiences that set them up for success in their forever homes.
And because I believe function should be just as beautiful as it is effective, our puppy space is meticulously designed—not just for their comfort, but for mine too! I’m obsessed with creating an environment that’s both functional and stunning, ensuring our puppies feel safe, comfortable, and enriched every single day. It’s truly a joy to raise them here, and I couldn’t be more excited about the results we’re seeing!
Birth to Day 14:
Building the Foundation
The first two weeks are critical for setting a strong foundation. During this time, our focus is on physical growth, trust-building, and neural development.
- ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation): Conducted from days 3–16, ENS enhances stress tolerance, heart health, and adaptability, ensuring puppies are better equipped for life’s challenges.
- ESI (Early Scent Introduction): We introduce a new scent daily to enhance puppies’ cognitive skills and nose awareness, laying the groundwork for future tasks like therapy or service work.
- 24/7 Monitoring: Our team provides constant care, including weight checks and health assessments, ensuring each puppy thrives.
Weeks 2–3:
Early Exploration and Connection
As their eyes and ears open, puppies begin to experience the world around them. During this stage, we prioritize gentle exposure and desensitization:
- Daily Handling and Massage: Intentional touch exercises begin to build trust and human connection.
- Noise Desensitization: Puppies are introduced to soothing household sounds like music, vacuuming, and soft voices.
- Potty Training Foundations: Puppies learn to use designated potty areas, reinforcing cleanliness and structure.
- First Grooming Experiences: Nail trimming and body handling prepare them for lifelong grooming.
Weeks 4–6:
Enrichment and Confidence Building
As puppies grow, they move into our Enrichment Center, where their setup evolves to match their developmental needs.
- Enrichment Activities: Novel items like wobble toys, snuffle mats, and slides are introduced to build problem-solving skills and confidence.
- Socialization: Puppies meet new people and are exposed to different voices, appearances, and gentle interactions with children.
- Start of Manding: Puppies are encouraged to sit calmly for attention, laying the foundation for polite behavior.
- Car and Stroller Rides: Gentle motion exposure prepares puppies for future adventures while keeping them safe.
- Intro to Crate – Our puppies begin to experience compassionate crate training at week 4.
Weeks 7–8:
Preparing for New Adventures
The final weeks are about transitioning puppies into the world with confidence and resilience.
- Sound Socialization: Puppies are desensitized to louder, more dynamic sounds like sirens, fireworks, and thunderstorms.
- Intro to Clicker Training: This week we add the clicker to their training!
- Alone-Time Training: Group and individual alone-time training begins, fostering independence and calm behavior.

How We Raise our Habibi Bears

Habibi Connection and Bonding
At Habibi Bears, connection is at the heart of everything we do. Beginning on Day 1, we focus on creating trust and love between our puppies and humans. By Day 17, our intentional daily massages help strengthen this bond, teaching puppies that human interaction is positive and rewarding.
This connection becomes the foundation for every other aspect of our program, from basic manners to advanced socialization. By fostering trust early, we set the stage for confident, intuitive dogs that form deep, meaningful bonds with their families.
Cleanliness and Grooming
A clean and organized environment is essential for raising puppies that are easy to potty train. From the start, our puppies learn to keep sleeping, eating, and potty areas separate, establishing habits that transition seamlessly to their forever homes.
Grooming is introduced early to reduce stress later in life. Puppies are bathed, brushed, and trimmed regularly, ensuring they are comfortable with the process and ready for future grooming appointments.
Compassionate Confinement Training
Starting at four weeks, puppies begin sleeping in open-door crates, gradually transitioning to closed-door sessions. By the time they are ready for their forever homes, most puppies are sleeping through the night in their crates, providing a head start for their families.
Our Enrichment Center is designed to accommodate every stage of this journey, with specialized areas for whelping, toddler pens for ex-pen training, and play zones for enrichment and manners classes.
Socialization and Enrichment
Socialization is one of the most important aspects of our program. By carefully exposing puppies to new environments, sounds, and experiences during their critical socialization periods, we create confident, well-rounded companions.
Key Socialization Activities Include:
- Exposure to various sounds, including household noises, fireworks, sirens, and thunderstorms.
- Supervised interactions with children and other dogs, ensuring positive experiences.
- Safe outings in carriers and strollers to explore the outdoors.
Our approach is mindful of fear periods, ensuring that every experience is positive and stress-free.
Gotcha Day and Beyond
When your puppy leaves us, their journey is just beginning. To support you in continuing the Habibi Method at home, we provide:
- The Human’s Guide to the Dog Galaxy Course: A comprehensive resource for bonding, scheduling, and gentle training.
- Text and Zoom Support: Personalized guidance to ensure your puppy’s smooth transition.
- Daily Routines and Schedules: Clear instructions to maintain consistency at home.

Known affectionately as the “Puppy Palace,” our Habibi Enrichment Center is a purpose-built space designed to meet every developmental need. With whelping rooms, toddler pens, and an outdoor play area featuring agility courses, slides, and teeter-totters, it’s a haven for puppies to learn and grow.
This thoughtfully designed space allows us to provide the structure and management essential for raising confident, adaptable puppies.
