Habibi Bear Nonprofit Puppy Donation Program

At Hannah’s Heart and Habibi Bears,  we believe in the transformative power of unconditional love and companionship. Our Nonprofit Puppy Donation Program provides an opportunity for children in need to experience the joy and support of a specially bred Habibi Bear puppy. This initiative reflects our commitment to making a difference, one puppy at a time.

How the Program Works

Our program is designed to be fair, transparent, and impactful. Here’s how it operates:

1. Eligibility and Selection

   • Families must meet specific eligibility criteria to participate.

   • Selection is based on availability and suitability, ensuring the best match for both the puppy and the recipient family.

2. One-Time Opportunity

   • Selected families will be notified and given a specific timeframe to accept the donation.

   • This offer is a unique opportunity contingent on current puppy availability and funding.  

3. Acceptance Guidelines

   • If a family declines the offer or fails to respond within the acceptance period, their spot in the program will be forfeited.

   • The scholarship will then be extended to the next suitable candidate on the list.

4. Board Oversight

   • Our Board of Directors oversees the program to ensure fairness and adherence to our mission.

   • Decisions regarding participation are final and made in alignment with program policies.

Policy for Families

We understand that timing and circumstances can change. However, it’s important to note:

• This program is not equivalent to purchasing a puppy; families do not have the option to choose the timing or specific puppy.

• Families are required to be available to receive the puppy when notified.

• Due to previous instances of declined offers, the Board of Directors has established a policy limiting repeated opportunities. Families who decline multiple offers will no longer be eligible for the program.

Success Stories

Our program has brought joy and hope to countless families. For instance, Heaven, a Habibi Bear donated to a family in California, became a pillar of support for a young woman courageously battling cancer. Little Lily has become a loyal and comforting companion to her new mom in Arizona, who is also facing a cancer diagnosis. And then there’s Honey, whose quick actions saved her family by alerting them to a deadly gas leak in Washington State. These stories showcase the incredible impact of our Habibi Bears on the lives of their new families.
